<\/strong><\/div>\n\u00a0Our\u00a0working hill farm is located in the Washburn Valley, in the Nidderdale AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural beauty) which is on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in North Yorkshire.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
The location is peaceful and picturesque and an ideal place in which you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Awake to the moorland views, the birds singing and fresh clean Yorkshire air.<\/span><\/p>\nOn the farm we keep a flock of Swaledale, Mule & Blue Faced Leicester sheep which lamb from around mid March until the end of April. <\/span>Meg and Fern, our Border Collies, are an essential part of Chris\u2019s farm team.\u00a0We also run a herd of Belted Galloways, a hardy native breed of cattle.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
The farm has some beautiful waymarked walks which you can enjoy round the Reservoirs of Fewston, Swinsty and Thruscross and maps can be found on the Yorkshire Water website.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
The nearby towns of Harrogate, Ilkley, Skipton, Leeds, Otley, Pateley Bridge and York are easily accessible.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
There are some excellent places to eat nearby\u00a0 including The Queens Head in Kettlesing, The Wellington Inn Darley, The Nelson near Hampsthwaite, Olleys in Pateley Bridge or venture into Harrogate which has a whole host of eateries.
